Paper Garden, 2008

I made this for fun right after my mum bought a Cricut Electronic Cutter! It's three dimensional--that is an actual flower pot!

Cosmic Mulch, 2010

I did this for my boyfriend a couple of months ago, Cosmic Mulch is the name of the band he and his friends made.

Poppies, 2009

This is one of my favorite watercolor pieces I've done. Unfortunately, it got lost in the shuffle of things at school last year and I never got it back after handing it in, so I don't have the actual original piece anymore.

The watercolor wash background. The grid was created by accident, simply by pressing it with paper towel to absorb my excess paint and water.

And, finally, the finished product!

Toucan, 2010

I was being a dork so I made myself a toucan beak one art class. The shaping of it turned out pretty well, but I know that I could have done the painting better.

On the plus side, it fits perfectly to my face!

The Beholder, September 2010

This one is brand new; it didn't take too long. Just a sketchbook drawing--I'm really trying to improve my portrait-drawing abilities, so I'm going to force myself to draw lots of people in the next while. I used a photo off the Internet as a reference. I'm not unhappy with the way it turned out, but I'm definitely looking forward to improving my skills.

The Bartman, 2009

A "hot and cold" exercise. Pretty simple.

Hamburger, 2009

This is by far one of my favorite projects! It's a "stackable" hamburger made out of clay, and painted with acrylic. I'm really happy with how it turned out in the end.

And....assembled! The paint-detailing was really fun to do, in the end it was just a whole bunch of experimenting with different techniques.

Inspired by a picture of an "underwater scene" tile mosaic.
