Untitled (Mountains Near Jasper), December 9, 2010

My artist study of this Lawren Harris oil painting. I really like how this one turned out!

The Original:

Fire in the Evening, November 2010

My version of this painting by Paul Klee. (A little bit of shine from the flash.)

Please Wear a Poppy, November 2010

This is a poster I did for Social Studies, to "decorate" (for lack of a better word) for Remembrance Day.

The Kiss, November 2010

My version of the famous scene from "The Notebook."

The Original Screen-Shot:

My Californian Epitome, November 2010

I realize that this piece may look amateur, but the runny, loose effect was completely intentional. I really like the way it turned out; it was also really relaxing to work on.

Here's my original reference photo, the cover of Jack's Mannequin's album "Everything in Transit."

Bemused Reminiscence, October 2010

Another attempt to improve my portraits. Trying to focus on realism as much as possible, while still adding a bit of my own flair!

I mostly like it...but I really don't like how the face turned out! I did try my hardest, I assure you, but I had so much trouble with it! I just couldn't get it to go the way I wanted. Oh well, I just need more practice, I guess.
